Long Ride 00:54
2.
My name is Padre Silver, I rode over the hills, got some holy words to serve you, some are sweet and bitter pills. I saw a terrible scary site, a twister grabbed a child, his mother screamed and people steamed, that heaven made such a trial. Now we ride the light, like two rangers in the sky, now we ride the light, crosses flying, holding tight, our troubles quiet, I know we'll meet in time. My name is Father Santos, I'll listen to your tell, I travelled long to bring you water from the Lord's deep deep well. I also saw that twister, it ripped the country bare, but the hand of Him will heal and mend a paradise to share.

Painted the corners on the moon. And astral seeds behind the gloom. Chasing dreams from far away. A new year brings upon a new day. Lead me kneeling on an open road. Past stories, lost truth be told. Follow me along with your treasured arms. And you are my lucky charm. Oh, I wish I were just like you. It's been a long time. It's been a long time gone. Revolution, warm blanket. Something to comfort me. While the world breaks free. Like a feather floating in a stream. All the world is free. Landed upon a quiet storm. Lifted me among the stars. Shadows darkened among the skies. As we slowly said our goodbyes. Oh, I wish I were just like you. It's been a long time. It's been a long time gone. Revolution, warm blanket. Something to comfort me. While the world breaks free. Like a feather floating in the stream. All the world is free.

The nights were not made for crowds and they sever, you from your neighbor, and you shall never seek him defiantly at night, but if you make your dark house light to look on strangers in your room, you must reflect on whom. False lights that on men's faces play distort them gruesomely, you look upon a disarray, a world that seems to reel and sway, a waving, glittering sea, a waving glittering sea. On foreheads gleams a yellow shine, where thoughts are chased away, their glances mad from wine, and the words they say, strange heavy gestures do make reply, that struggle in the buzzing room, and they say always I and I, I and I, and mean they know not whom.

Slowly and gently I come to you. Do as I not, not say I do. Running in weightless air. Feeling full, and fully unsure of. The hard knocks on the heavenly door. Hitting the keys on a holiday. Playing back many mistakes. People reject compassion but want to be brave. And seekers seek yet want to be saved. Guiding loose melodies. And just like forever, vanished with a flash. Holding God's earth between their hands. The timeless time travelers. The dreamers without roots. Slowly and gently wake up the youth. Do as I not, not say I do.

Til The Sun 05:35
Oh the night is full of cons and madness, and taillights fade down roads of sadness, I won't sleep here, you just listen, I won't swim in the river that you're pissing in. No I can't breathe in my right mind, 'til the sun climbs over the line. On a trip, a thousand mile stumble, too many hours down a drugstore jumble, keep driving on, with jacked up broken gears, and pretty words that were shiny smoke and mirrors. (chorus). Small dying smiles and a labyrinth of trials put to me, tomorrow's sun and soft eyes of love are summer's seeds. You're a beast, with a bottle pounding skull, speeding East, way past last call. city lights that speak of days you wasted, but roses wait in nights that I've tasted.

Death Knell 02:16
Death knell, into the bottomless hole I just fell. See your unloving face, ungiving trace. Death knell, a wave of funeral singers that did swell. See your unloving face, ungiving trace. Ooh.
8.
Don't let the deal go down. Destroyers have gathered around. Spinning my wheels in an old strip mall. Crippled past has come to call. Desire upon a lamb of hope. Seeking solace while we grow old. Shaking folded hands in a land without plans. Judges govern and don't understand. I'll take you into my stubborn arms. And just wait for the day. Make us into lost kings and queens. And teach us without words in dreams. Hold the four-horse chariots high. And praise thee open skies. Spinning my wheels in an old strip mall. And torn up before I fall.
9.
Beware of wishes on stars, of dreams born in bars, and bitter ideas hammered and hid, in the marrow and fiery red arrows, and the slipstream of love, spoken by prophets above. But who really cares about all the things they know? You'll find me somewhere under the rainbow, and time lives between your eyes and halo, just bury me there under the rainbow. We could raise a dead patriarch, shake his neck in the dark dungeons of our brain, in existential shame, as bluebirds take flight to an emerald delight, wings yearning and melodies slurring inside.

Endless Rain 03:29
Fumbling amongst the others. Crossed arms and slumped over. True diamonds in the rough. Overthinking useless stuff. And suited men without plans. Arguments held within. Floating high on a holiday. Rolling back the clock on mistakes. And the ambulance chasers are on. Cashing forged checks before dawn. All the single gun saluters in the sky. Yelling "freedom!" in their hallowed cries. Endless rain, endless rain. Fields of self-inflicted pain. Can't you see, you were never free. Countless photos, final proof. Futures forgotten for the youth. So don't sweat the small stuff. Punch the clock, and nod off. While the church bells slowly chime. Missing shooting stars of sunshine. Endless rain, endless rain. In a desert of constraints. Can't you see, you were never free. Endless rain, endless rain. On a mountain of hidden tears. A new year with new fears.

White Riots 03:06
Right riots, there are white riots, there are white riots over there. So many people holding on to what they never had. Hung over underground. Misinformed in fear, steeped in ignorance. All knowing but don't know which way to come or go. White riots, there are white riots, there are white riots over there. Breathes in the untruth, and spins it in a web. Confronting the evil around all sides, and searching for truth. Hundred valleys far below, forever forlorn. Unwanted arms, and hell bent charms, leave. White riots, there are white riots, there are white riots over there. So many people holding on to what they never had.
